Our Approach
Lead Generation is unique in its collaboration of public and private sector initiatives to effectively improve academic performance of Milwaukee students with some very clear metrics. Those metrics include high school graduation rates for students, grade improvement of students involved, and post-secondary admission for college or trades.
Improvement of academic performance on ACT and traditional grades.
Engagement with internships and professional development.
Readiness for college or alternative education, particularly in high need areas (health & finance).
Program Includes:
Pre and post core mentoring.
Post summer t.Lab support at no cost to the students.
Mentors for each of the students for follow up during the academic year.
Significant exposure to employment activities in health care and finance.
Cardinal Stritch will provide scholarship support for students who subsequently apply & are accepted at CSU.
All students will receive a stipend based upon participation up to $3,200.
Students will be eligible for a savings match grant.
Students may be eligible for 529 accounts.
8 weeks of on-site development.
