The John and Irma Daniels Educational Excellence Award is an award given out by the Fellowship Open in in honor of John and irma due to their strong love for learning education including Irma who was an MPS teacher for 10 years  The John and Irma Daniels Educational Excellence Award was announced in 2019, first awarded in 2020 and supported by the Friends of Fellowship Open Circle comprising of Gerry Peterson, Earnie Ellison, Booker,  Evans Don Roman, Bere Reid, Calvin Baker, Snow Mitchell,  Curtis Parker and Raullo Eanes.
